I tried that. It changes the title in the post that I'm editing, but not the thread's title. You have to go into the full editor.
That's what I did. It only changed the title of the first post, not the thread. You have to edit the first post.
=|I think it's possible to do, but Jeremy needs to allow it. It may not be enabled because it's a feature Jeremy wants to add as a buyable option in the shop once it's out though.
Why not? What if I need to change the title after 15 days? Take, for example, my Wii Successor Rumor Thread. What if Nintendo ends up revealing the name of the system at the end of this month, and I want to change the thread title to reflect that? Or what if I made a typo in the title of a thread I made and didn't notice it until someone pointed it out over 15 days later? Or what if I want to update a thread title to alert people of a new important post in the thread? There are many reasons why thread renaming shouldn't have a limit to it. Threads need to be able to be renamed whenever.edit: But you won't be able to edit it 15 days after you made it.
Added. You can either double click near the title from the board it's in or change it from the Thread Tools menu.

That's seems awfully silly. The only reason you would want to update a thread title is if the current thread title was out of date, which wouldn't happen within 15 days of making the thread![]()

I think you guys are misunderstanding, either that or I am.
The way I understand it:
You make the thread -> You can edit the thread title right away -> 15 days later you are no longer able to edit the thread title, ever.
