January 17th, 2023 - Gourde

Today, I decided to take a walk to the museum! I had some fossils assessed by Blathers, however; I already have my fossil collection complete! I'll just wrap them and gift them to my favorite villagers. After talking with Blathers about how he wished he could purchase them from me for his personal collection, I made my way to the café to have a cup of coffee. I figured it'd be a little lonely by myself, so I invited my good pal Chelsea!

Chelsea and I gossiped about the other villagers at her current island, and how much she yearned to stay at my island forever. Eventually I'll gain the courage to ask her to live here. Just not today, I guess! She mentioned to me how she believed Marty had a crush on her, which I found really shocking! Marty normally keeps to himself from what I've heard.

Regardless, I had quite the time catching up with my favorite villager from another island! Nothing beats a good 'ole conversation with a buddy over a hot cup of coffee. I just wish it was iced.. Brewster, when are you going to start providing ICED coffee to your customers?! Not EVERYBODY likes it hot, y'know!
