Christmas tree glitch?

I was trying to move one of my decorated cedar trees this morning so that it was symmetrical with the ones that weren’t actually covered in leaves. After I move the tree, the lights disappeared, and it became a normal tree that gave branches instead of ornaments. Moving it back to its original spot did not fix the problem.

when u dig up decorated trees the lights disappear, so u gotta plant it then re-dig it until it has lights again ☆

Hmm that’s not working for me - I did it many times and no lights.

I did this as well, I'm pretty sure digging up the trees resets them from having lights in the same way that picking weeds makes them restart at their first stage of growth when you replant them

I honestly can't remember, sorry! I've also done a bit of time travelling since then so I think that resets which trees have lights on them

I did the same thing. I wanted to move one of them to a spot that had more space to drop ornaments. I tried planting and replanting but no luck.

It’ll reset if you TT to a date out of the timeframe in which they are available. For example, Dec. 14.
TTing a day or two forward shouldn’t be a problem....At least, from what I have noticed.
