Finally a blog post that isn't about depressing life updates! Hurray! Well, today Thanksgiving break was officiay over and it was my first day back to school, which admittedly was really hard. However, every year, the local radio station allows kids from different schools to come and paint their windows in fun Christmas themes. I go to a small, private school that's a short walk away from the station, so my art teacher took five of us to go there. And I was one of them!
My art teacher decided that she wanted to do a Grinch theme, so she made the templates by herself. The theme was supposed to be the Grinch stealing trinkets out of the stockings of the Lou Who children. So, one of us painted the Grinch's hand, three of us the stockings, and one of us did touch-ups and details. I was one of the stocking painters. It turned out great! We were all really happy with it and my art teacher is trying to get permission from a local church to let us paint a sacred theme on their windows on Friday. But on the pictures, people commented on how it's the happiest I've looked in ages.
