Kay, so someone was kind enough to let me adopt Vivian earlier this week. I was beside myself, ready to deck out her yard with hybrids, send her some presents, ship her with Kyle, draw her art, pamper her to bits. I've wanted her even before the cards came out.
I walked about the time carefully, getting coupons for RV visits but making sure there were no pings. Then Kyle tells me Vivian is thinking of moving. I run over there past her, no ping, and think to myself: 'Well, the game gives you ten days advance warning now. If I go ahead one day I'm sure she'll ping, tell me her plan and I'll change her mind in a heartbeat.'
Next day Isabelle tells me she's leaving, and I'm sitting there with my jaw open. There is no way to stop her at this point and no way to hold her. Even so, I would have to cycle 16 villagers now to pay someone to scan her in. :/
My local Best Buy/Walmart are selling Welcome Amiibo cards, but all I see everywhere is people getting everyone but her. Everyone wants her, she's out of stock everywhere online, and the best I can do if I really want is to fork over $10-16 on Ebay to get her back. That's steep for one card. That's the cost of almost three packs.
So I come to you guys. My question is, how rare is she, and what are my chances in getting her within three packs? What would be the ideal number of packs to purchase? I hate taking a chance and throwing my money for a 'baseball card hunt' and showing up empty each time (kind of like when people buy lottery tickets and win nothing...) but how many would I go through, speaking from your experience, to find her card? ;-;
