Clown mask?

Ok... I know for certain that I was infected with Dimentio mask HDLC... (I bought one from Ables in my town)
And I heard from somewhere that once you are, you will never see a normal clown mask in Ables ever again... So, this morning, I went to Ables and I found a normal clown mask... So... does this mean that I'm uninfected or is the above statement false? :gyroidconfused:

The statement may be false, once I saw this in my able's but I did not buy it. Rumours say that some one on AXA's friend made it. But you can't really be sure about it. There might be a curse, or every day the clown mask will be in your shop. You'll just have to see as time goes by.

It is a hack DLC which is transfered when somebody is in your town that has this infection. There is is possibly a way to get rid of it that is resetting your AC:CF.

And I had another question, sorry, I keep seeing and hearing things about some strange bug mask with a lot of colours, it has big eyes and there's also something about that involved hacking, but I don't get it? What's with that mask?

Anyone think this sounds like every incident with a cold virus? You end up catching it, usually with no idea where you caught it, and then you start warning people you bump into to keep in mind you might have it, still.

Actually you are infected. It's basically a little worm that goes around other peoples Animal Crossing discs. So if a player wears the mask or has it, you'll get infected. Oh yeah, you are risking to get warned/banned if you ask for HDLC.
