Anyone thinking of getting Clubhouse Games 51 Worldwide Classics for Switch? It’s developed by Nintendo and I have great memories of the DS version back when I was a kid. It was fun to play with others and even solo play was fun too.

I also liked that it had in depth instructions for teaching how to play games you’ve never played before. In my opinion it’s a great game for families or small parties/get togethers.

Here’s the trailer:

Here’s a video of GameXplain playing a few of the games:

Yeah, it looks great. Never played the DS version, but I'm familiar with a handful of them from board games so it'll be a lot of fun. Also the tennis and golf game look great too! And I'm looking forward to have Solitaire and Mahjong available without having to buy them individually from app developers.

Also love that the trailer showcased all games, I really appreciate it. Can't wait to pick it up, it'll be a fantastic co-op game.

My copy just arrived and it's a lot of fun! My parents even feel comfortable joining in thanks to the touchscreen. The best part is that it bookmarks your game and that you can play all games simultaneously. Also there's a 52nd game with the piano minigame.

Honestly I kinda feel like a kid again with all those minigames I used to play. It's a great way to introduce young kids to them.

I downloaded it yesterday and I’ve been having a blast. I always wanted the DS version, but since I was a kid and my parents didn’t like buying video games, I had to choose what games I wanted to purchase with the money I saved up wisely, and Clubhouse never made the cut.

It’s a really charming game with great production quality (as expected). Amazing collection of classics, and I can’t wait to learn how to play all the ones I’m not familiar with.

I want to get it because it looks fun. I tried out the demo and liked it. I think I could rope a few if my friends into playing with me when they visit.

This game is insanely good. Like they did a really, really good job with it. All the rules for the games are explained well. I was able to learn multiple new games I had never played before. The matchmaking is surprisingly good for Nintendo aside from the occasional lag. The sounds of all the games seriously feel like an ASMR or something, they're just so good. My only nitpick for this game is local multiplayer mode. For some unknown reason to me, they only let you play local co-op using one singular joycon per player even though you could use the pro controller in single player. It doesn't really make sense to me, but the single joycon isn't too bad.

It looks fun but it doesn’t seem like $42 kind of fun to me, especially considering I already own a lot of these tabletop games irl. I’m probably going to wait and see if a sale happens in the future.

Looks like Nintendo brought back Download Play for this game:

I've been having fun with this. A lot of games I've loved for years and a number of new ones. I'm working on getting the cup for each of them.

Not going to lie, while I do enjoy the game in some ways it feels like it has absolutely no charm to it. It just seems they threw in the games with no personality and kinda just said 'there you go.' Who thought it was a good idea to have screechy kids do the recordings for the Tutorials? Why is the online so laggy? Why are there no leaderboards for online - I was hoping to be able to at least see how I'm stacking up against other players. And it would have made perfect sense to use the Miis here - I'm sure people would have much rather have been able to use their Mii as their player icon rather than the limited and rather disappointing figures that you get to pick from.

Not massively impressed, personally. :(

I've seen some gameplay of it, a lot of the games don't looks that great, it might be some fun trying everything out for a bit but a lot of them are kinda clunky and a bit unbalanced. Its a meh party game imo
