Hi, so I am wondering, how is it that some peope have their user name in different colors or fonts? Is that an upgrade of somekind? Just curious, thx for any answers

Do you mean the user title? Located under your username or your username?
You can change your user title in your setting and the color by buying User Title Color Change for 220 Bells in the shop! c:
Color code for usernames:
blue = mod
red = admin
green = sage
brown = unregistered//banned

Sage is a spice, used in cooking. It is also used in a variant of fly fishing, known as "Sage Fly Fishing". Lastly, Sage is a secondary class in the Fire Emblem series who can wield light and anima tomes as well as healing staves. They are often very high in magic and resistance.

I got excited when I saw this thread thinking coloured usernames were back
Once upon a time... one billion years ago...
The world was hit by a huge, black blob. This, in turn, caused all usernames to turn black. But, a few people managed to get in the shower cor long enough for the ink to wash off.
This was how it all happened.
Not us haha. Our names are black, not blue lol xD If everyone was a mod then.... chaos (think I spelt it right o_o)

To change the colour of your user title after purchasing the upgrade. You have to go to you shop and at the side click on inventory. Beside where it says color change you have to click configure. I didn't know at first either

I did this, configured it to be red, went through it all and it didn't work :/
This is what it looks like when I go there now, I can't reconfigure and it hasn't changed:

It bugs up sometimes. If you want to try again, I renewed it in your inventory.
