First game was the GameCube version, and I've played every one since!
Mine was new horizons. I've dabbled in new leaf and wild world since.
They’re all so good in their own ways!

i like that you can “complete” it in your own way and at your own pace.
My favorite villager is Mac, the jock dog. I prefer his aesthetic in older games, though, where he was wearing the red aloha tee. They changed his outfit in New Horizons. The original aloha tees are my favorite shirts in Animal Crossing, so it is a shame they are no longer in the game. I know about the pineapple aloha tees, but they just don’t seem very aloha to me if that makes sense.
It does! I miss how the cranky characters were kind of rude in older games, and just how much the personalities have changed overall since the GameCube version. Though I am glad that villagers don’t move out without telling you anymore. Logging into older games after some time off was always so stressful!
Yes, I hope that whatever changes in the next mainline game, they keep this feature. I love not having to worry about my favorite villagers moving out. I was able to obtain my dream villagers easily with this.

Thanks you! I’m glad to have found this forum, I’ve already found a lot of fun things on my first day. There’s not a single card I especially want, I just want to complete my collection!
