Compose-a-Song Feature

Wouldn't it be so cool to be able tome your own songs that you could play in your home? Here's what I was thinking on that matter:

You could unlock this feature from K.K. and you could create the song yourself like it would work in creating the town tune. You'd either write just the melody or both the melody and bass (if not the bass, K.K. could just help fill it out with other instruments or his guitar when singing it live). From there, you could choose the instruments you'd like in the song as well as the tempo. And name it, of course!

You could store a certain amount of your original songs with K.K. and you could ask for a copy of it whenever you like, so that way, you could share your creations with your friends!

I know it sounds ambitious, especially since composing a song yourself isn't the easiest thing to do. However, I don't actually expect this to become a feature in the game, just thought it would be a fun idea.

I think in villager's houses music should work like shirts if that makes sense, meaning villagers are able to change their music when they please and maybe sometimes you could hear your composed songs on the radio.

Wonderful idea! The ability to create your very own songs. That would be so neat to do so, as I'm always trying to find more ways to be creative.

I really like this idea.

That'd be great. I'd totally see about composing the 11PM theme. Would fit that I'd be using it as my town tune, like I did in NL.

I think this could be an interesting way to further customize your town. Hopefully it wouldn't be too simplistic. I know they wouldn't want to make it too confusing to use, and as long as it isn't too restrictive I think it could work well. It probably won't actually happen, but it would be nice if it did.

I think it would be nice if they allowed for a bass to be added to town tunes. There's only so much you can do with a single melody, so having that would add a lot more possibilities when it comes to composing them.

Unrelated to the idea but also about music (just didn't wanna create yet another thread haha), what if the hourly music for outside was seasonal? So every three months, the hourly music would rotate to another set that reflects the season. Even if it just replaced the instruments. I would really love this, more music is always great x

Great idea! If this were to be implemented in the next game (which I HIGHLY doubt it will), it better not be too simplistic such as not being able to add sharp or flat notes and limited to a number of notes at a given song.

Heck, I'm gonna have to be asking why if we don't get sharps and flats this time. I can't believe this hasn't been a thing yet. I'm hoping if it doesn't happen, the voice will be loud enough from us fans that it'll be added in an update later. xD

That's a interesting and in the same time also wonderful idea. It would be definitely cool to work
on your own song together with K.K. and share it with others. I also doubt it that something like
this would be in the game, but who knows? Anyway, I would like it.

I agree! This is a nice idea. I would welcome any changes that had to do with music, honestly. I loved the ability to make a music box out of a shell in ACNL. I think building and growing on that sort of idea is great.

I love that idea!! That would be so cute, just like how the music changes for the weather. It would make a lot of sense that way!
