Hi, I was wondering does anyone know the villagers that will and won't be in the game! I want to know if my dreamies are in it or not! Or if you could just give me a link/ post who is not gonna be in the game that would be cool too. Thanks!!

Best bet is to buy a Japanese HHD guide or, of course, wait until all 4 series of amiibo cards are confirmed :)
 
I have a Japanese guide, and I took pictures of the (I'm assuming full, minus DLC) villager list. If there's a particular villager you want to know about, I can tell you if they're on the list.

People will want to know about all 333 villagers from "Animal Crossing: New Leaf." (I have each villager's picture in my pictures-themed museum town ACNLpics.) Add to this the events-type characters, like Zipper (for Easter) and Jingle (for Christmas), who I wouldn't expect to see in "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer."

I have been watching "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer" videos uploaded at YouTube. It appears that all the villagers from my three active towns—Applewin, ACNLpics, and Foster—are present in "Happy Home Designer."

Is Ed going to be in this game? I know he's a little unpopular, but he's my favorite. I'll make it my quest to find his amiibo card if he is in this game!! Or maybe I'll get lucky and he'll be one of my first villagers like in New Leaf!

I am hoping that Filbert will be in the game. I didn't see him in the first amiibo card set but he's one of the main cards I'm looking out for!

I haven't seen anyone call it senpai lmao. It's just a cute game for easy going people. Nothing wrong with that.

If you've seen the gameplay of the Japanese version, you'll see that he is in the game. His card is not in the first set though as far as I remember.
