Confirmed price for Animal Crossing amiibo 6-pack cards in the United States

Going by that price which is about 4 pounds in the UK you're getting a really good deal.

Its like 5 pounds for 3 here which is around 8 dollars .-.

$5.96 ~ $5.99 are very reasonable prices for 6 cards, it definitely seems like a legitimate price tag.

I hope the price for the Animal Crossing amiibo cards will still be 6,00$ when it launches in Qu?bec. The Canadian currency is in a lump but I don't want to pay more than that.

Isn't the American dollar stronger vs the Canadian dollar? As far as I know, amiibo figure prices are higher in Canada with respect to their number but converts to around the same price. $6 US is around $7.80 Canadian so I would think price would be somewhere around there.

Consdering 6 cards cost ?3.84 in America but ?10-?12 in UK, I'm strongly considering importing some packs from amazon.com. After shipping and tax, they would still be much cheaper than I could buy here I predict. And since they release a week earlier in US, I'll still get them by UK release date. I would also get a higher number of villagers per 6 cards instead of special characters which should be good for me depending on who is in which series. I only want villager cards of my dreamies and some others, not really for special characters although they'd be cool. Of course, if US have stock problems then it would be discourteous to import but I hope that isn't an issue.

Thats nearly the same as japan prices. Looks like I might collect these afterall..

You're spot on, Klave. As usual, the Canadian loonie is being spanked by the US dollar. $1 US is $1.30 CAD today. So it'll cost us more than US packs but they might not go for a full-on conversion and give us a Canadian price if we're really lucky.

That... actually sounds reasonable. I'm glad I won't have to scrounge for change to buy one!

I don't think it will be too much more Canadian, so I'm happy. I feel bad for the UK still though.

On Walmart.com the asking price is 5,96 $ per pack of 6 cards.

Source : Walmart.com

Magic the Gathering Cards have more than that in their packs, and cost $3.99-4.99. I don't know; it's a bit pricey to me for six cards (I know these are not trading cards and are for a video game, but still) ~ not that that stops me from buying them :p.

If you think about it, they have those NFC chips in them so, in reality, its pretty darn cheap. Maybe not 25 cents a piece cheap, but still cheap

Edit: a word

Its great $6, I'll take it!!!
Ok I got a question, does anybody nows if NA will ne getting the HHD new 3ds xl edition???

Is not bad! I'll likely pick up a pack on release day with the game/card reader, then maybe a couple more packs down the road.

Sounds like a great value to me. I've played a bunch of different playing card games over the years and those packs aren't much less. Think it used to be like $4.99 for pokemon and yu-gi-oh. So considering how much prices have risen in the last 10-15 years well lol I'd say it's pretty good pricing. Hope it stays that way and there's a good enough amount. I'm going to be super mad is scalpers ruin this too...

Good price, looks like I may pick these up...

...If I can find them. Japan's shortage doesn't seem to signal good news for how stock is going to be here.

Also I hope we get the binder.

Oh man, I'm going to spend sooo much money on cards on release day... :p my wallet is not going to be happy with me lol. Stinks being a poor college student, but I guess it's also good for me too so I don't go overboard and buy like 20 packs
