Corpse Party 3DS

Any fans of the Corpse Party series here? I myself recently became a fan of the series when the PC version of the game (Which is a remake of one of the older ones). For those who aren't familiar with the series, Corpse Party is a Japanese Horror Game series (most of them are remakes of each other, and as far as I know there has only been one direct sequel), and the plot of the game is that these group of friends/classmates preform a charm for a send off for one of their friends whom is transferring, but once they preform the charm a massive earthquake strikes and they are all sent to a different dimension of their school which is called "Heavenly Host Academy," when they explore they find other corpse of former victims who arrived before they did. They must avoid traps and fight for their survival in order to escape the Academy.

This version is a remake of the PSP version from a few years back with additional chapters. The game's audio will be in Japanese, but the text will be in English. The game will be offered as a stand alone title in the eShop and as a physical copy in the form of the Back to School Edition which includes soundtrack, figures, and the game.

It comes out in the US on October 25th and in EU on October 26th.

Check the European Amazon. They might have the BtS edition. The American one does

Yeah, but I think they only have the US physical still since the game itself is listed as Digital only for EU/AU.

Ahhh, yea. I just looked it up, it's only available in digital in the EU/AU. Which I find is odd, from my experience you guys mostly get the cooler options

Well we got Senran Kagura Burst and that was it pretty much, everything else animu we actually get is like, digital only. At least we did get the PQ premium edition way back.

At least the Vita is region free with nice le's now and then.

I preordered the one coming out for 3DS! I have only watched the anime and even though it was brief, I really liked it so I'm looking forward to playing the game and going more indepth with the story and characters!

Idk if you know, but the one on steam isn't the same one as the one coming out for 3DS. However, it's still pretty good!

Yeah, I think I saw they were different but still Corpse Party I guess. It just sucks every animu department in EU region can't make it physical hurrrrr

Yea the PC one is a direct remake of the original one from the 90s if I'm not mistaken. Whereas this is a remake of the psp version.


I guess Nintendo of Europe and XSEED of Europe thought it wouldn't be that profitable?

Ah... XSEED at it again lol then no wonder. Well those "smaller" companies sucks at bringing physical things here. Like lit only thing we got was like, Senran Kagura game(s). Yeah those are fun but seriously work up a freaking deal and make it available at other places other than your obscure sites.
