2NE1 disbanded now two years ago and I honestly am still pretty bummed about it.
I realize it's been some time since then, but they were really the only Kpop group I could seriously get into. I first started listening to their songs when my friend told me about "I Am The Best" back in 2014, roughly two and a half years after the song's release in 2011. Unfortunately, only a couple of months later, the group went on hiatus, and disbanded in 2016.
The main thing that got me about 2NE1's disbandment two years ago was that I hadn't been listening to their music that long. That aforementioned friend had only shown me "I Am The Best" in March 2014 (roughly the same time that I joined this site) but it and the then-new release of "Come Back Home" were the only songs I knew by the group at the time and it was only largely in March and April that year that I listened to a lot of Kpop, as my grandfather died in May, which obviously muted any attention I had to Kpop at the time.
It wasn't until the started of my freshman year of high school again that following August that I started listening to 2NE1 again and due to the general busy nature of school, I didn't really look into more of their songs until much later on in the year. It honestly wasn't until December 2014 that I really began listening to lots of 2NE1 songs, increasing furthermore in early 2015.
The problem with this was that 2NE1 went on hiatus after May of 2014 and literally did not make any songs for the last two years it existed until its disbandment two and a half years later. Minzy would leave the group in April 2016. I didn't get to be seriously exposed to much of the group despite the fact that it had formed all the way back in 2009. With the rumors circulating that they might come back, do you see it as being likely?
