So i was telling my friend about the mario update and we were talking about the sanrio cards being released over here in the states finally too (i already have a set but still happy to see them again as cinnamonroll is my favorite and I'd love to have a couch again and also even just the villagers are awesome too.) Anyway...she said she missed reseitti and i said i miss him too as well as copper and booker. So i said they could remove the tools from cranny and let him sell them on top of crafting resources (obviously at a high price cuz your paying for convenience.) Him and don can run a stall on the secret beach and kapp'n can come by and sell hard to find shells like giant clam and stuff and make models of deep sea stuff since cj and flick don't. Shrunk can have stand up night at Brewster's, kicks can get his own shop (if you choose to as i know some islands don't want to take up any more space.) And copper and booker could be security and keep those pesky night clowns away or ya know...let you know when you have a special visitor like flick or something by saying" hey there was a stranger with a net or whatever walking around the island... better go see" and especially since we have lost items now... again just a crazy idea. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what do you guys think?

I think Resetti should relinquish his current responsibilities to DODO airlines, and be accessible underground via the impending green pipes. I don't have an opinion about the others.
Just having him anywhere in game where you can choose to have him yell at you would be awesome...

Problem with him selling tools and the like disrupts the core crafting and material gathering game mechanics.
and finding him via green pipes only works if players get the green pipes this month. Leaving out new players that join the game afterwards.
I would myself like to see the ability of being able to go to the Rescue Service Station after using the service a lot of times and being able to interact with Resetti and his bro there. Be the size of a mystery tour island and can go in, maybe get a uniform set or similar items to Dodo Airlines based on how many times you use the service.
Crazier idea would be that and the ability to upgrade the headquarters for them by donating nook miles and getting rewards that way.

I mean they sell tools in nooks cranny. It'll be the same thing just a separate shop and the price of the crafting resources wouldn't be worth it unless you're desperate kind of thing or maybe just super hard to find stuff like gold nuggets. But i get what you mean. I still like to hunt down the villagers to return the item but it'd be like in NL where random left behind stuff gets left. It'll take the place of the recycling bin or leave the bin solely for clean up service.

That's a nice idea! Maybe they can remove the recycling bin and make there the entrance to the lost and found room. I would welcome the return of Booker and Copper as well as something like the police station in a new version or in form of an upgrade for the RS like you said.

I’ve been saying something similar for a while about kicks! Idk why they made him a traveling salesman when in NL he had a shop. Same with Leif. And don’t even get me started on labelle
in new leaf the three sisters were finally back together and Labelle had gotten her certificate from Gracie Grace and they were all happy to be a family again they missed her so much and now she’s gone again!!!! It makes me so mad!!!! Let her work at the Tailor Shop! And the dock that we all have I was so so hoping over the summer they would introduce Kapp’n back into the game where he would show up there! I miss the little tours on the summer island in NL. Now when people visit its much more boring there’s nothing to do, I wish Kapp’n was back, I miss him and his family

I loved the secret tunnels in New Leaf, where you could see how Resetti and Don lived. It was always such a nice surprise when the manhole cover was suddenly open and the first time it happened it blew my mind. I would love to see that come back for New Horizons, maybe even with more content, like maybe a minigame or something like that.
I really like the idea of having the option to give kicks (and others) his own shop, it would still allow people who aren't sure where to fit another building the chance to see him while giving others the chance to have him on a permanent basis. My island doesn't really have very many areas to place an extra so I probably wouldn't give Kicks his own shop but I'd definitely give Leif his shop back as out the NPCs who visit the plaza he's the one I get the most from.
