As I'm approaching the 100-entry mark, I have a few more stuff to talk about. Today's entry is about Glow World. I already have an amusement park idea much earlier, but that's for the outdoors. I'm thinking of a smaller, but indoor, amusement park.
Glow World is named after my first successful level in Little Big Planet. This attraction I came up with has a pyramid-like façade, but only with dark purple walls and colored neon lights that go across the pyramid. On the inside, it has a whole bunch of attractions. The higher up you go, the fewer attractions there are.
There are four stories in this indoor amusement park. Each floor are 42 feet high and has different attractions. Here are what each floor has:
Floor 1:
The first floor is the largest floor in Glow World. They are composed of rides small enough to fit inside the pyramid. There are 8 rides, 8 carnival games, a restaurant, and an information center.
Floor 2:
The second floor is mostly an arcade. There are a few "houses" in this floor. One of them is the ticket redemption center. The others are exclusively classic arcade games where you don't earn tickets when you play. The games outside the houses are the games you earn tickets as you play.
Floor 3:
The third floor is home to three attractions: Glow-Putt, Go-Karts, and Laser Tag. They also have prizes for the winners of each game.
Floor 4:
Because this floor isn't as big as the other three, the entire fourth floor outside the elevator section is a fun house. There is a maze tower, crazy walkthrough, and a few gizmos of fun.
Lighting:
Each floor is pitch-dark with a few streaks of LED lighting along the walls, giving it a "glow feel". It's very colorful at the first floor, but as you go up, it gets closer to being monochromatic.
Floor 1 has all 8 colors of lights. They are red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and pink. Floor 2 is the same as Floor 1, but only without the orange and yellow lights on the walls. Floor 3 has green, cyan, blue, and purple. And Floor 4 only has cyan and blue.
That's all for my indoor amusement park idea. If you have any comments, feel free to post some.
