im really eager to know what people think of this

i would also like some tips on shading because i have no experience :c

It's cute, but you definetly need to work on the anatomy, the legs are odd.
Try not to outline everything in black. I personally like to outline things in a slightly darker color than the thing I'm outlining.
Lines are a bit shaky.
Definetly work on hair and hair coloring.

You have definetly improved from the first art you posted on here. ButI don't think you should start selling your art just yet. You should do freebies for a bit and get some practice.

you look like ur a beginning artist so you shouldnt sell ur art yet, develop a style by drawing more/doing freebies

try noT To start out doing chibis because the anatomy is super incorrect so youll never rlly be able to do proper anatomy if u only do chibis

add ears, real eyes and maybe work with some layers
tbh just try to do flat coloring until u find a style that works, i still cant shade lmao

There are two types of shading - flat and smooth.

Flat shading is when there is no blending with your shading.

Smooth shading is where there is.

Try to think of shading in two ways: in relation to a light source, and as an extensions to lines without making them stick out too much. (This work specifically well on fabric folds)

Shading will come naturally to you the more you draw, the best thing I could say is to just draw some more and see where you could use it, and eventually you'll be able to see where you should shade like it's second nature.

its super adorable omg

i would download "ibispaint x" its a free apo that has layers and tutorials on how to shade and it makes drawing on an ipad / phone so much easier!
my lines really improved when i still drew on my ipad when i got that app! theres tons of brush tools and colors and its just great :) id say work a bit on chibi anatomy just for the neck to head ratio and the legs :) i love it bruh

I personally use IbisPaint because for some reason I'm not able to download SAI and it's a great program. I reccomend it.
What do you use to draw now?

I downloaded ibis paint. I used to use SketchBook Xpress though.

i honestly wouldnt pay more than 40 tbt. as other people have mentioned, the anatomy needs work. neck is too big in width, legs should start out big in the thighs, not the other way around; line art is shaky, stabilizers are recommended

tips;
- hair should flow naturally, not strictly remain in a rectangle form of shape
- color freely when shading, but don't shade in just random places if that makes sense. there are tutorials on dA that can help with that
- i see what you're trying to do with her mouth, but even if this is just a chibi drawing - anatomy still matters. it doesnt really look right imo
- generally for line art, you want the lines to be solid and thin with no extra colors overlapping it. optionally, thicken up the corners a bit
- when using a stabilizer, don't go too low but dont go too high either. 15 is the perfect option. only go higher if you need to make really long strokes
- at least add a bit of shine in the eyes with some white bubbles. generally, you want to avoid using white when highlighting, but eyes have an acceptation. later when you get more advanced, you'll want to start adding colors under the white
- never use black/gray for shading, unless of course, the primary color is black. use a darker shade of the primary color instead
- practice traditionally and study anatomy before getting into chibis and digital art. as i already mentioned, anatomy can make a huge difference in drawings

its hard to critique since you're just starting out, but once you get the basics down a little, we can point out what you need to work on in more detail. just practice a lot and look through tutorials
