Just kinda curious but am I the only young person who loves to cross stitch? Everytime I go shopping for floss or fabric I feel like the older women kinda stare at me ^-^ I just started a freakin Bill Cipher pattern and realized how weird it was to do needlework of a kids cartoon character...

It's so relaxing I just zone out until I stab myself with a needle ;P

Here my lovely Bill so far~
Kinda fit the Halloween spirit right :)

aw that's so cute!
i used to do a little bit (just with kits) but i was doing a really detailed one and i kinda got bored of it after a while because it was taking so long -_-
but i like smaller ones because you can see your results so quickly!

Yeah I've done bigger projects...you never realize how long it'll take and it can get discouraging. I have a 8x10 project I started like a year ago and I doubt it'll ever get done :)

the little projects are so fun~

I've always wanted to learn cross stitching but I haven't yet.

I crochet, so I know how you feel about the older people giving you funny looks

My sister does cross stitching, of course she's an adult, but she's 25 so i mean not like... super old. She does spooky and funny stuff, mostly text, but I have been on her about trying to pixel because it's basically physical pixeling. I've been thinking about starting to do it myself because I enjoy pixeling... but the last thing I need is another artistic medium to start, buy all the stuff for, and then inevitably move on from far too fast.

I've tried it many times but I'm just not very good. It doesn't help that I really lack creativity, just have no imagination when it comes to doing stuff like this. I initially learnt at school as it was within the subject I had opted for. Always remember the teaching getting frustrated with me, it used to take me ages to complete one little project
