Cursors

I want to make my own cursor installed on my computer, not just on a Webpage. Does anyone know how to do that? All I know is that you have to save the image with .cur but I don't know what to do after that.

i think you have to go into the C drive, windows, curosors, put it in there, then go to the controll pannel and make it that cursor. I THINK thats right, not sure though.
