Custom Designs

Okay, folks! I just cannot figure out the solution. No matter how hard I search! So, I guess I'm just going to have to ask. I've never had to do this before... When I log on to the HHD network on the cute little red computer on Lottie's desk and I find a super cute house that I want to check out I "heart" it to travel there. Once there I'll notice that they have some awesome custom designs that I would love to have. So, I ask Lottie about it and she says that I can have them I just need to pick which slot to put them in. So, I do. Then I get to see all the cool custom designs, but for some reason they are grayed out and I cannot select them! How and Why in the heck? Thanks for your help in advance...

The grayed out ones means that person scanned a QR code and thus can't share it with you. You can only share designs that you made yourself.

If all the designs are grayed out, that means the person selected that they want to share designs even though all their designs are QR codes that they scanned in.

If you had a screenshot of the designs people on here are really good at finding them and linking the QR codes, so that'd be your best bet.

Ooh! I get it now. Thanks for the advise. I think I'll just stick to making my own designs. That's one of my favorite parts of the game
