Pokémon Darkrai gamestop event, did you get it?

So I am told by a few of my friends who lives in the United States now that Gamestop is already giving out the Darkrai event in their store. Unfortunately, Gamestop is gone from where I am so I have been missing a few Gamestop code for the mystery gifted pok?mon. But in all honesty, I would like to know. Are they giving it out now as I am told? If this is true, I need to ask someone to give me a copy. If said person I know doesn't mind I mean.

If they're being handed out now, they shouldn't be. Event is supposed to start May 1st and run to May 24th.

I was at GS today, and I didn't see any event cards out on my end. When May comes around, I'll be glad to swing one your way! I just hope I can get my hands on one of those 20th anniversary plushes!

Thank you very much for telling me, Tom and Javocado. I always like to ask about rumors and search around before assuming it is true. But I am glad it is not out yet. Which means I still have time.

Maybe they though it was true that they were giving the codes out early.
