Today, I started my new town. I named it Avalon, or the island of apples! 
After an awkward introduction, in which I try to explain that I'm not the mayor, I am told to come to the town hall. I go and Isabelle tells me to go find a spot for my home! So much walking! Ol' Nookster and I choose a nice spot on a peninsula and he puts up a tent for me (how thoughtful). I return to town hall to attend my ceremony!

I begin to wander off in my new town and start to shake trees for some startup cash. After getting 600 bells, I go to Nooklings in hope of buying a shovel...

Which they had! Which means, of course, I had to find the money rock. Free 16,000 bells!

I went back to Nooklings and bought the fishing rod and that very tempting antique clock.

I decide that I should go clothes shopping. Sable gave me a lousy response when I talked to her, but I'll befriend her eventually. As I walk into the other part of the store, an item catches my attention...

But not even the money rock could pay for it. A goal has been set, I shall buy this crown one day! But for now, I buy a... unique outfit.

Do you think I went a bit overboard shopping? My villagers don't seem to think that! In fact, they all seemed very pleased to meet me. I've never had lucky as a villager, and I must say he has a strange house... does his house mean that Egyptians went into space?

I decide that after talking to all my villagers that I should check out my sweet tent. Isabelle gave me a lantern (how sweet!) and I put down my clock. How do you like my home so far?

I decide to start doing the advice for Isabelle. I went the net and watering can! She asks me to get her a shell...

Which I do, of course, as she asked so nicely plus she gave me that lantern! In fact, I gave her a giant clam shell! She gave me 3 oranges, because that's what nice puppies do. I eventually am able to buy a net from her and I binge catch fish and bugs for awhile. I even caught a bee!

As I head to the museum to donate, I mail off the 5 letters I wrote. I sent them all gifts so I hope to get one back.

I head back to Isabelle who gives me the watering can for my job well done. Yay! Now I can start watering flowers.

I decide to take advantage of this and steal all the flowers in town to start my paths. What do you think so far? I plan on having all dirt paths, just so you know!

Finally, after a long evening of work, I decide to call it quits. Tomorrow is a big day, and I have to be ready for all the work I have to do. Until tomorrow, goodbye! Thanks for reading!
