Whitney is out and about and seems to be enjoying Storrs thus far. I planted a couple of azalea bushes alongside the path beside her house; Hopefully the one that is directly next to her house will start to grow. I still don't fully understand what constitutes a bush ungrowable, since you can plant them directly next to things sometimes and they will grow, whereas trees require a full square of open space around them. Anyway, I also planted a few Durian trees alongside the path behind her house. I'm usually hesitant to plant trees on the south side of a path since they always block the view of your character, but I rationalized that there's nothing behind her house that really needs to be seen. I'll decide if I want to keep them or not after they're fully grown.
I took a few Bamboo Shoots to Dr. Shrunk, and I learned the final emotion: The Shrunk Funk Shuffle. Now I am an expert comedian. And it's a pretty nifty little dance, if I do say so myself.

And I have added the new Light Blue Dresser to my Princess room. I think it matches well enough. And it serves as a lovely spot for my Katie's Pic and Boxed Figurine. There's still quite a bit of junk lying around, so I may just order a Blue Bookcase and see if I can set anything on that. I don't want to get a Blue Table since it's a 4x4 and has the yellow cloth over it that won't match at all.
Also I'd like to take a moment to point out how awesome the Scale-Armor Shirt and Cuffed Pants look together. Like, it's amazing they weren't made for each other. The first time I discovered this, they were both for sale at the Abel Sisters' at the same time and I was certain they were part of a set, but nope. Mere coincidence. So I bought them right up and wore this outfit for like two weeks straight. It remains one of my favorite outfits to this very day.
With the mention of Katie's Pic, Katie is in my town today. If anyone would like to have her, ask away. I'm not in any hurry to get rid of her, since I believe I've gotten most, if not all, of the items that she gives out already.
Oh, and Dr. Shrunk also rewarded me with his very own jacket! It would make a perfect Mad Hatter Jacket, so I'm tempted to replace the one I'm using in my Tea Party Garden right now so I can free up a design slot. But I do really like the one I'm using now, so I may not decide for a while.
