I had no flowers to water today! So the rain waters them for you, huh? Why doesn't it rain every day? The hybrids in my flower breeding section of town grew a new purple rose. Purple roses are my favorite flower, and yet I haven't figured out anything to do with them. I should fix that.
Felicity sent me a letter saying how shocked she was that I wasn't 'up to date with the latest trends'. So, to 'help me out', she gave me a Trash Can. Is she trying to tell me something?
Coincidentally, she and Lolly and I had our twinning game on point.

If my style is trashy, she isn't doing much better.
I tried a new hairstyle today, since I don't entirely like looking bald whenever I wear a hat. The Formal-Business-Fresh style ended up being a little too girly so I'll probably never go with that again. I generally prefer my ponytail with hats, since the bangs usually show enough but such was not the case with my Alpinist Hat. I should have just gone with my standard low ponytail since it has the bangs parted to the sides of my face.
Still no new Princess furniture for sale at Gracie's today. I think I'm just missing one final piece. However I did make some progress with my alternates' homes. I added the few new lockers I ordered to the back room of Shyloh's house, and the locker room has all that it needs now. I didn't finish it today since apparently I somehow forgot to order the expansion yesterday. I'll just put that off for now, since I had an idea for the upstairs and ordered the first expansion for that today instead.
Lily's house is a different story. I haven't put much focus into it yet, save for the two rooms I've started so far. Her house is going to be the Red Queen's Castle and have a straight-up Alice in Wonderland theme with each room being a different scene. While looking for an appropriate flooring for Shyloh's upstairs, I noticed the Underwater Floor for sale in the museum and immediately thought of the Caucus Race. So I'm going to try to make a room based solely off of that, with a bonfire in the middle and some animals running around it. That is, if there are enough items to serve as the animals. I still need to give that some thought.
The Durian trees are fully grown behind Whitney's house and they look perfect. When I'm landscaping a house or a building I always try to plant fruits and flowers that are the same color as said establishment. For example, I planted a row of Peach trees along the path leading up to Re-Tail. Fortunately for Wart Jr. this time, I had plenty of peaches to pick for him when he asked for one.
Besides that, none of my friends were too needy today. Chief asked to come over and we set a time for 1:00...which, writing this now, I just realized I missed. *facepalm* I usually say no if they ask to set a time to come visit because I always, always forget about it. I'm sorry, Chiefers.
