I walked outside to a beautiful double rainbow this afternoon.
It was so pretty, everyone in town was talking about it.

Now this is the bridge in the northwestern corner of town. You can follow the pathway north and to the right and arrive at the train station, or south to Mitzi's and my hybrid collection area. I originally intended to turn that section of town into a park, hence the Suspension Bridge, but it never really turned out that way. I'd like to place a Wisteria Trellis just below this bridge as soon as I can unlock it.
There was a camper in town today, which turned out to be Rasher. And...ew. He's a creepy pig with a very noticeable gash with stitches in the back of his head. Dx Needless to say I walked out of that tent right after I walked in. Am I prejudiced? ...Maybe. Just a little bit.
And Wart Jr.! AGAIN with the Mango. This time, after I declined, he gave it to me anyway. So... yeah. I'm just gonna...throw this away.
I make fun of his habits, but ol' Wart Jr. is one of my favorite villagers.
Sahara was back in town again. It's like she's here every other day, or is that just me? I was hoping for a Lunar Horizon, but she gave me an Office Wall and Ranch Flooring today. I don't need them, so I'll just sell them.
Doing my routine shopping, I made sure to buy everything that isn't in my catalog. I never really had a good habit of doing this so I figure now is as good a time as any to start. I bought the Hairbow Wig from Gracie, which I actually kind of like. It's a little too girly for my taste, but it's pretty nonetheless. I'll try to style it up and go with a girly outfit tomorrow.
The upstairs of Shyloh's house is now a reasonable size for what I have in there so far. I'm turning it into a trophy room, so I need to start thinking of some items that would make nice complements. Like lights and rope partitions and stuff. Right now I have four gold trophies in glass display cases with two small spotlights on the wall behind them. | Lily's house now has rooms on both sides, so I can order the castle exterior which Nook conveniently has for sale today. But gosh, 422,000 bells is an awful lot for that! I've only ever purchased the Zen exterior for my house, and that was such a long time ago I forgot how expensive the remakes were.
Lolly asked me to find her a new piece of furniture. Every time she does, I jump at the opportunity. Lolly's house is such a mess, I don't even know where to begin. She's got a wood wall with a tile floor that just looks terrible. And then her giant science lab table or whatever is right in the middle of the room, with a bunch of random things sitting around like a cactus, a refrigerator, and a bathroom sink. None of it makes sense at all. Today the Nooklings were selling a Lava Lamp which I thought might look nice, so I gave that to her. It looks okay.
I got another mannequin with Lily, this time from Mabel. Now I just need the one from Labelle. So I'm off to round up a White Rabbit outfit and a few other things for further improvements.
