Before I even stepped out today, Wart Jr. came by while I was in the middle of changing my clothes. I don't think he saw anything. He gave me a Robo Wall for my troubles and saw himself out, so I could begin my daily walk.
Buck ran over to me and told me he was thinking about moving. I don't even freak out when he tells me that anymore. Like, ha ha. Very funny, Buck. You're not going anywhere. Then he said, "It was just an idea. I was only going to leave if you told me to." As I thought.
Then Patty ran over to me and started crying. She wailed out something about a disco ball telling her she lost her sparkle. I didn't have the heart to tell her she might need to see a doctor, so I just reassured her that her sparkle was still intact. She's fine now.
I had a dream last night -- or at least woke up with the random thought -- that I realized there are exactly four different purple flowers, so I could totally replace the four pink flowers in one of my flower beds with purple ones. Since I had rubies around the border of the flower bed to match the pink hybrids, I would need at least five new amethysts to match the purple ones. Turns out, I had two in my drawers, and I got two from an ore rock today. I suppose it was meant to be. Too bad the amethysts are just a slightly lighter shade of purple.

I consider this area of town the Crossroads. Mainly because it's the biggest intersection in town and it's the first place you'll be when you first arrive out of the station. From there you could go west to the underdeveloped 'rural' part of town, east to the Business District, or southwest toward the main bridge and everywhere else.
And so I tried to look girly today. The sweater dress is about the only thing I have that works at the moment. I usually have fancier dresses in the summer since most of them are short-sleeved. And I just really don't wear dresses much. I hate the way your arms lift up when you run in a dress. To negate that I usually carry a tool all the time, preferably the shovel since it occupies both hands.
After my walk I did my routine shopping for the day. Nothing interesting for sale, so I'm still lacking that last Princess item. Also less to buy today for my catalog than yesterday, thankfully. Though I am starting to collect a bunch of Gracie clothes I don't want. I don't like to sell them since they are unorderable and I feel like I might need them sooner or later.
Then I came across Lolly and Becky engaged in conversation. This time, I was soon enough to come to the rescue. But it actually ended up being uncharacteristically nice. Like, really nice. Lolly was praising Becky for her wisdom and how she looks up to her. Becky offered some advice on how to be more mature. If anything, I think Lolly should be teaching Becky how to be mature. But whatever, so long as they're getting along and I can be a little less wary of Becky from now on.
Lasty, my house exteriors are slowly coming together. The castle renovation looks great on Lily's and now I just need a red roof, and possibly a new exterior that would match it. Shyloh's concrete roof was installed overnight, and now I just need the concrete fence/wall. I'm debating whether or not to purchase the Modern renovation, but I feel like that looks more like some Russian kind of house than a modern building. And today I ordered a Cobblestone Exterior and Black Shingle Roof for my house, since I liked the way they looked together side-by-side at Nook's. Hopefully it'll hold me over until I can repurchase the Regal Exterior. Today I think I'll expand the back room of Shyloh's one last time and put the finishing touches on that locker room.
