Okay, I promise this post is going to be shorter than yesterday's. I actually had to do a bit of editing yesterday to get my post down to under the character limit, and that was not fun. Anyway, let's begin.
I started my morning as usual, picking out an outfit. I've decided to start buying new clothes that I like as I see them, line them up in a special drawer, and style them each day as I get to them. Today was my new Blossom Tee, which I found matching pieces for rather easily. I went out to check my mail and had three letters. The first was from Gulliver, telling me about his trip to Sweden. He sent along a Dala Horse from his adventures, and I was very excited to display it in my world-themed museum room. The next was from Katie, thanking me for taking her to my friend's town, and attached was a Globe, which I already have. The last was from Deirdre, giving me a Pastel-Striped Tee because someone told her it would be the new "it" item next season. I doubted it.
With that done, I prepped myself for patrol and set off. Whitney had walked right up to me at the mailbox by this time, so I talked to her. She asked me to find her a new piece of furniture, which I vowed to do if I saw anything at T&T today I thought would be nice for her. Unfortunately, later on I did not.
I found Mitzi close to her house, next to the developing forest. Which only needs about one or two more trees to be finished! Mitzi said she had picked up something for Deirdre but forgot to deliver it, so I told her I would whenever I ran into her. Wart Jr. pinged me in his usual spot, in front of the fruit trees behind his house. He told me he impulsively bought a Shower the other day, and tried to sell it. Again, Wart Jr.! I guess he still hasn't solved his spending problem. I had to decline, or else how would he ever get better?
The same special rock as yesterday was an ore rock yet again today. Yay! Just below, in front of the cafe, I found my fake rock that turned out to be a ruby. I left it to sit, as I did with the gems from my ore rock, and made a note to retrieve them all after I'd sold my first set of patrol pickings.
Then I made my way through the tulip field, watering any wilted ones, through the Zen Park, and across the Cobblestone Bridge to the Queen's village. Lolly was there, and she ran up to me and asked me to take a Striking Outfit. I thanked her, and saw my way into Deirdre's house, as she was home. The gift ended up being a Misty Tank, which she put on right away. I thought it looked better than the design she had been wearing, so I told her it looked fine.

She gave me a Wood Paneling as thanks, and I let myself out.
In front of Re-Tail, I found Buck, and he told me that he'd impulsively bought a Fire Hydrant while shopping with Felicity the other day. I agreed to buy it off of him, because he's my #1 best friend, and I didn't think he had a problem with overspending. Yet. Then I checked the last part of town left, the hybrid breeding field, and started up towards Main Street. Had to stop on the way, as the gates went down and a train went by, but I didn't mind the view.
I had my fossils appraised, sold my first batch of things to Reese, retrieved all of the ore I'd gotten today, and sold those as well. I picked up the Queen I had Cyrus refurbish to white, and dropped it off at Lily's to see how it would look in the throne room. I have another I'm going to refurbish to black, just to see which one looks better. While dropping that off by Lily's and sorting through the rest of stuff I'd bought in the shops today, Lolly had pinged me, but I didn't notice until it was too late. ): I hope she didn't want anything important.
Lastly, I stopped in to see Felicity, who had recently gotten home. She told me that one of the things she loves most about Storrs is the peach trees. That impressed me, seeing as there's only one in the entire town. I had some planted along the path up to Re-Tail, but chopped them down in favor of planting regular ones for cherry blossom season. Now that it's sadly over, I replanted the peach trees and am waiting for them to finish growing. Anyhow, I agreed to go get her a peach from the one remaining tree, and decided to plant the other two to finish off the Re-Tail path.
I didn't quite feel like checking out the island or working at the Roost today. But I did add a Fancy Doll to my Princess Room, since I removed it from my museum display in favor of the Dala Horse. Hopefully it will net me some Fairy-Tale points, and I can work on rounding up some more likewise-themed items.

I am eager to get rid of this room, anyhow.
That's it for today, be back again tomorrow!
