Happy Monday from all of us in Storrs. Didn't post yesterday because, as you may guess, yesterday evening was the firework show! As a result, none of my villagers were too awfully needy, and I wanted to get some good footage from the event to share with you guys. That said, let's get started!
Day 489
As I mentioned, none of my villagers wanted much from me yesterday. Cyrano wanted to buy my Green Bench and I found a Sleek Bed in Chief's dresser when I saw he was at home. Oh, I did try out a new outfit, since I bought a Lacy White Tank from the Abel Sisters' the day before and thought it was rather cute. Felicity seemed to agree.

She's such a darling.
I handed over a design to Isabelle for the show, but later I never noticed it being in any of the fireworks. Is it supposed to be really noticeable? I'd never suggested a design before. Anyhow, Isabelle did give me a Heart Bopper to wear, and I bought a lot of cookies from Redd which awarded me several new exclusives, including the Lovely Phone! I was very excited to add that one to my Lovely room.
I got a few nice pictures as well.

After a little more sky-gazing, I called it a night.
Day 490
I woke up today to a bright and cloudless sky. Storrs had a camper today, and this time it was Gayle. Yet another citizen of Shizen paying our lovely town a visit. They must really be spreading the word about us over there! (; Gayle was too cute. We chatted for quite a bit before I went on about my day. Too bad my town is full, otherwise I may have seriously considered asking her to move in.
My entire walk through town was rather quiet, and it wasn't until the very end of it when I ran into Fang. He wanted to come over to see my house at that very moment, and I was all too happy to concede to his wish. I gave him the grand tour and we had a jolly old time.

After that, I returned to the hybrid breeding field and scanned the area for any fossils or newly grown flowers. I found Melba beside of Re-Tail, and she wanted to head over to her place with me. I agreed and we set off.

I found a Fire Hydrant in her dresser that she let me keep, and convinced her to sell me the Melon Gingham Tee she had sitting out. Overall successful visit, if I do say so myself!
Once I saw myself out and went through the arbitrary motions of selling my fossils, watering my flowers, and checking today's selection at the shops, I thought I would head home and do some rearranging of my furniture. Whilst I was busy doing that there was a knock at the door, and it was Colton!

I was extremely happy to see him, since I hadn't seen him anywhere in town and was beginning to miss him. c: After we spent a few minutes together and he left, I wrote him a letter to tell him how much I appreciated his visit. I also attached a gold rose, because that's how much I love him. And it should mesh very well with his decor, should he set it out in his room.
That's all for the happenings of today and yesterday in Storrs; Sorry it wasn't anything too incredibly interesting! The next two or three days are starting to look busy in my future, but hopefully I'll have enough time to blog at least tomorrow, if nothing else. See you next time!
