Greetings, everyone! I have a day to relax before we hit the road to the beach, so I figured I would go ahead and catch up a bit before I get any further behind. That said, let's get on with it, shall we?
Day 513
Wednesday, Storrs had another camper. This time, I believe our visitor was taking a little vacation from Animalia.

I was rather tempted to invite him to stay for good, but that wouldn't have been very fair to Steven. However, we did play a game, and I managed to snag a Campfire Cookware from him, which just so happened to be an exclusive! So it was worth the 4,871 bells I paid for it.
Later, Felicity wanted to play Nook-for-a-Day, which consisted of me pretending to be one of "those cute little Nook kids," and her playing like she was in my store. And she wanted to buy my Campfire Cookware, so I had to say no. Would have been fun otherwise!
Day 514
On Thursday, I got an early start and found Whitney sleeping in her house. She wasn't too happy.

I thought she'd appreciate being woken up! Everyone else does. Regardless, after that she told me that she had something Felicity had lost. I figured I'd run into our kitty friend later on and agreed to pass it on.
At the campsite, there was (yet) another tent. Our visitor? Very adorable.

I was literally THIS close to having him move in. If he was a lazy, I definitely would have. But there's only room in this town for one smug, and that is Colton. No matter how cute Henry would be with Lily. We played the game where he would list off five items and their prices, and since I didn't like any of them, I was stuck with buying a Mini Dharma for 4,075 bells. Fun.
Later on my walk through town, I came across Chief and Buck engaged in conversation. Chief was rather concerned with why Buck was only shouting several incomprehensible things, but as Buck went on, he had to admit that he was rather impressed.

Then Buck got really silent. Chief asked him a couple times if he was okay.

So...yeah. That was interesting. x) But I'm glad that Buck was okay; it was quite concerning.
Shortly after, I found Deirdre asleep in her house as well, but that was usual for my little deer. She, however, was thankful to be woken up, since she was evidently having a nightmare about a giant pear. Then I found Fang outside of Re-Tail, who told me that he wanted to replace his Classic Bookcase. No way, sir!
Day 515
Today started off with Colton wanting to play hide-and-seek. He invited Deirdre and Whitney to play with us, and I quickly found all three. Colton suggested that I only found him so fast because I was "scared to be alone out there", which didn't really make all that much sense, but I'll take it as an excuse. He thanked me with a Time Clock, which I admitted was rather appropriate for winning a timed game.

I resumed my patrol of the town and found a lost item in the newly relocated (and soon to be relocated again) Zen Park, before falling in a pitfall right beside of Felicity, who didn't even offer to help me up. xP
Melba wanted me to have her Minimalist Dresser (finally!) and I went straight to Re-Tail to await the next opportunity to give it back to her. Hopefully after I get that Blue Bookcase out of her house.
Lastly, I went on to plan where the new and smaller Zen Park is going to be, just below the bench and things outside of the train station. I ordered the garbage can to be demolished and planted a few bamboo shoots. Likewise, I had a new garbage can commissioned outside of the cafe and above where the Zen Park is right now. Going to put something else there instead, but I'll talk about that in a later post. n__n And finally I did a couple of upgrades to Stef's house, so she no longer lives in a tent. I might go ahead and order some furniture for it and start working on the school theme I want it to have. No rush on that, though -- I still have a Red Queen's Castle to finish up!
And that's all I have to report from Storrs over the last three days. Like I said, we're leaving for the beach tomorrow, so I may only get to post once or twice over the next week. Either way, I'll be sure to save all the juicy goodness from my town and pass them on to you as soon as I can!
