Today it rained. Since I moved here there hasn't been a drop from the summertime skies, I was beginning to worry the drought had indeed followed me here to the North! But after only a few months of waiting my hope paid off and at last I felt fresh drops of water fall to my face.
I really missed the taste and feel of rain, and I await tomorrow when the ground will be full and the plants content, to smell the sweet success a good downpour brings.
