deciding on villagers...

hey there! i'm not a rookie at acnh but i am to this website, but here i am, taking my chances. : DD

so i have a kidcore island (in case you can't see my name lol), and one of my starter villagers is still with me; the beautiful punchy. but as he's not necessarily kidcore, i need to replace him. any ideas on who i should pick?

((btw my current villagers are stitches, jeremiah, scoot, punchy, chabwick, rio, marty, truffles, dizzy, and pietro ))

I vote Bob! He's basically Purple Punchy. Sasha's also a good choice for kidcore.

If your looking for another lazy I would say either Joey, Dom or Bob.

If not then Bill , Bluebear , Bunnie, Henry, Julian,Ketchup

I second the Dom suggestion. He’s a jock but he’s colorful and cutesy, I think he fits well into kidcore

Personally I think Apple should be on more kidcore islands, she is a bright colored fun peppy hamster who gives off that childish vibe

Also Joey is another popular kidcore villager because he looks like a toy rubber duck

I think Vladimir is great for kid core. Looks like a teddy bear and his color screams kidcore. He is so bright.

Sydney seems like she'd be a cute pick! ^^ She's a nice vibrant purple with a very friendly/cute look, and already has the pastel Wooden Block furniture in her home. Judy also seems like a similarly good choice for more teddy bear-ish vibes.
Peanut is very cute and colorful, so she seems like she'd fit the theme well too, and I could see Rosie being a viable option as well.
Fuchsia's home might need some working, but she's extremely bright and colorful, and definitely reminds me a bit of some toys I had growing up.

If you want another lazy to replace Punchy, I'd recommend either Hopkins or Filbert! c: Hopkins looks suspiciously like an inflatable pool toy, and Filbert is just adorable. I think his house already works well for a kidcore island too, with his little spaceship and toybox.

Some of the villagers I think would go well on a Kidcore island:

There are 3 Sweeties that all have a bit of a stuffed animal vibe - Nana, Daisy, and Lolly. Tia is a Sweetie that's literally a teapot. Crissy is another Sweetie option with polka dots and shining eyes. She also has a Snooty Sister named Francine with a similar design. Bunnie is a slightly more muted but still Kidcore Peppy. Axel is a Jock with a perpetual toothy grin. Dom is a bright eyed Jock. Flip is a cute monkey Jock. I second that Vladimir would be a good choice, especially since he's one of the only Cranky suitable for a Kidcore island. Judy is a starry eyed Snooty. Cleo is also a pastel Snooty, but not as extreme as Judy. Astrid has a star pattern on her face, and I think she may go well with Pietro. Mira is a Sisterly based off of super heroes. Frita is a Sisterly based off of a hamburger, fries, and a hotdog all at once. Cube is an especially colorful Lazy penguin. I know other people have already mentioned him, but Bob would really be great too.

Sorry, that ended up being a lot of recommendations. Kidcore is such a fun theme.

depends on what kind of kidcore you're doing
if its more like a nostalgia sorta feel i would definetely reccomend Teddy

if you're going for amore classical "bold" kidcore look definetely get stitches
