Default Map

Since I know alot of people struggle with terraforming or they find it tedious, I was curious to know if anyone kept their default map and didn't terraform or did very little terraforming.
Is anyone considering just keeping their default map if they recently restarted their island?
Does anyone wish they kept their default map?

I didn't really do any terraforming at all, except for smoothing the edge of a river once so I could build a bridge. And I laid down some paths, if you'd count that as terraforming, since it uses the terraforming Nook phone app. Everything else is pretty much the way the game generated it originally. And I like it this way, I don't want to change any of it.
