You can edit them so it doesnt really say anything
Only mods can delete posts btw

No, you can't delete your posts. This is a response Murray gave to me in the past regarding the same issue.

Sorry to say but deleting your own posts will probably never be a thing. There's just way too many downsides for the benefit of deleting the odd duped post or the such.

As an Animal Crossing trading forum, I believe deleting posts can be easily used to dispose off evidence that a trade had taken place and people could exploit it. Though I believe the mods can add in an option to delete posts only in threads like the Basement and the Brewsters Cafe(or similar lounges), similar to what they did with closing threads in certain forums.

Just a few of my immediate thoughts.

No you cannot, but editing your posts is the closet thing to deleted the content of it.
