i agree wholeheartedly! i’ve been playing since release and even over a year later, i’m still blown away by how good the graphics are. i’m definitely grateful for the customization and the ability to terraform + place items outside! and like @Mattician mentioned, i’m literally so glad that villagers can no longer move out like,, having that happen in previous games was awful.

The level of control we've been given to shape our islands in this game allows for more unique designs than ever.

AC players have always been creative and come up with new ways to use items, but the things I'm seeing in this game are amazing. Color combinations, forced perspectives, illusion design. You name it, someone has probably thought of a way to represent it. And even when things are replicated, people put their own spin on them, or combine them with different elements, so there are no cookie cutter islands out there.

I agree too. Now that we have the option to let villagers leave or not whenever they have the thought bubble of moving out.

Graphics definitely made a huge impact for me.

The replay value of this game is quite good like New Leaf. I clocked more than 800 hours in this game so far. Up until now, it's still fresh for me despite that my playing time went down recently because of my attention to other new games. :ROFLMAO:

I agree on everything listed above, especially regarding the graphics, greater customisation/decorating and villagers not randomly leaving.

One of the reasons I really love playing the game is due to the graphics, everything always seems so clear and bright on the display which allows all the little details to stand out and helps me appreciate the game more. I've also really enjoyed spending time decorating my island, I'd been reluctant to do much decorating or terraforming early on in the game as it wasn't what I was used to in AC games but I love it now and am really glad they introduced it. I've recently begun playing NL again as well as NH and while I'm really enjoying the game I do find it hard going back to the 3DS graphics and not been able to have as much freedom with decorating my town.

Also it's a great relief that villagers won't randomly move out and I can decide who stays or goes when the thought bubbles turn up, I took a break from the game for a few months but I already had most of my permanent villagers so was really pleased to find them all still on the island when I returned.

I totally agree - The graphics for this game are so beautiful. The ambient light and the shadows that get cast are so incredible. The way the whole game has an orangey glow at sunset on a sunny day, and the lighting in even the museum alone is just so pretty. Nintendo really knocked it out the park with this stuff. Little past me playing AC on the gamecube would go feral if they saw what the game looks like today lol.
