Deleting threads question.

Hi! I just barely joined yesterday and I have a question about threads. Am I able to delete them or do they stay on forever? Also, I may have other questions too, but I'm just curious about this one for right now.

Never mind! I think I figured it out. Just guessing, but threads will not be shown after a certain amount of days, so I'm assuming they get deleted due to inactivity or so or just falling off the list.

You're able to close some posts depending on the part of the forum, not delete them.
If you're not seeing specific threads on the front page, it just has been pushed down by newer activity.
