im really interested in being more involved in the deviantart community but I have no idea where to start at all ahah!
if anyone is familiar, can you give me some tips on how to navigate more easily/how to find people who are doing commission/how to get dA points and so on?

There is a project-forum where you can find people willing to do requests or commissions. If looking for RLC commissions, it would be better to look at the Work-forum. Don't really know about the point system there since I haven't been there long enough to use it.

there are a lot of groups that focus on advertising commissions, to list a few of the big ones:

I personally like to go into the "featured in collections" and "more on deviantart/more like this" section on the right side of an already made commission journals of artists im already interested in to find similar artists for styles more to my prefernece :>

as for points, you need to buy those with real money or do some kind of trade with others for them! there's a few groups that give out a little bit of points here and there but I've never actually dabbled in them since the amount they give out is too small to be of any use to me. (i see them handing out like 1 point to people and thats literally 1 cent so like... lol... but again, they might give more somehow. I just dont know? maybe someone else who knows what im talking about can help haha)

ah it's a shame about the points since I'm broke ;w; but I love just browsing the art there so I guess it's fine haha i guess I won't be getting commissions anytime soon though since I have no money but I'll check out those groups that give out points (even if it's one cent it's enough for me hahahah)
