Did anyone else see what happened on the AC Wiki last night?

I guess some trolls invaded it (and a few other Wikis) and some vandalism went down revolving around Todd Howard? Isn't he that Skyrim guy?

Look at this thread on the wall of an admin's profile. Jeez.

I managed to save a link in the Wayback Machine of the page they created, too.

They left a few posts in the Discussion Board and apparently really ticked off the person in that thread that tried to argue with them. They even went as far as to mess up the Jacksepticeye and Animal Database Wikis the person's part of. Talk about intense.

What do you guys think? I think the big thread on the admin's profile was at least a little funny. I wonder how many of them there were? They mentioned at least two in a post I saw. Apparently they were IP banned from ALL Fandom Wikia communities for an infinite amount of time, though.

My humour differs a lot from you guys so it seems, because I dont find this to be funny or witty. I find it to be very immature and annoying for the people who have to clean it up; I pity them because I would hate to have to do that.

I think the Wiki ended up being able to reverse it. The AC Wiki anyway. I checked the Jacksepticeye Wiki though and the Markiplier page seems...broken? I'm not sure. Might be fixed now.

I do think it's funny how worked up SlySummar seemed to get. Seems like it was pretty harmless, at least the stuff on the AC Wiki lol.

I get your point, Zendel. I didn't get a real malicious vibe out of reading the whole thing, but maybe going to other Wikis just to egg on SlySummar was a bit much. It doesn't take much to fix an edit like the ones made though, iirc. That's one thing I'm glad for: that the Wikis have "Undo" buttons for stuff like this.

The thing that really bothers me is that the (mod? admin? idk) SlySummar was upset and that is a little disrespectful to them when they had already expressed that and the troll still continued to act in that way. I don't like people getting me angry or me getting other people angry unless I think they deserve it, and Sly definitely didn't deserve any annoyance. I agree that the kid obviously didnt have malicious intent but from what I've gathered they continued to act in that way despite grievances towards them already being made?

They probably should have stopped when they were told.

Idk. I think it was a little silly to get that upset at someone having a laugh and not being directly harmful. I think Sly should have just logged off for a while if it was that upsetting, personally, since it was rather tame all things considered imho, but I kinda get where you're coming from, and like I said, I do agree that moving to other Wikis Sly was a bit far.

EDIT:Ahh, sorry, I'm not trying to start an argument or anything. I hope this isn't coming across like that. ;^^ This was just a weird incident altogether lol.
