Genuinly curious. I get that people were furious about its existence and didn't want to play it for that reason. But is this game unironically fun?

Because to me, after looking at it again now, it still seems boring af sorry

Strangely, i did. x.x I mean, thing is, I have my brother play it with. It's a simplified Mario party in a way. playing it alone tends to feel empty and boring.

Do you play the board game or the island survival thing? I remember being interested in the island survival but then they added it to New Leaf and yeah, the game became worthless.

While I never played the game, I'm actually interested in trying it out, because even if it's not the best
game out there, I would give it a chance to see at least how it really is when you play it on your own.
But then again, I guess I will not spend money on a WiiU. So if Nintendo ever comes up with the crazy
idea to give this game a port to the Switch, I would try it out.

I think I have sometimes, but it's really primarily for the cute aesthetic of the game over the gameplay, it's a very passive experience.

Yeah. Sometimes, when I can’t sleep, I’ll pop the disk in and play until I’m tired. Even if the game sucks, it’s still very calming.

Regardless of the reputation that the game got and the many bad things I heard about it, I just gave the game a shot and I honestly was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced in the game. I even wrote a personal review on what I thought of the game to share my experience and to argue that the game is not as bad as a lot of people say it is! :)

Absolutely agree. I bought it yesterday and I'm having a blast playing with my wife.
People need to stop comparing it with Mario Party and chill. They actually made a board game that feels like AC.

Never even looked into it or played it. Forgot it existed for a long time. Party games aren't really my thing, but I'm glad some people find enjoyment out of it!

I've played for almost 10 hours already. It's really fun and cute. It's a bit too repetitive, but so is Mario Party, so...

Me and my family found it weirdly fun- and the fact it came with 3 high tier exclusive amiibo cards and 2 exclusive amiibo (Isabelle even working in smash) was a plus!

I never played it, all I know about it is from Chadtronic's video on it.

Mostly bought it for the amiibo figures and cards tbh. The animations are cute and all, but there isn't really much gameplay besides "put figure on tablet and watch"

I was catsitting for my bf a couple of years ago and I played it. At the time the idea of having Animal Crossing, but on a nice big TV screen, sounded really amazing. But the game seems really juvenile and not particularly exciting. I stuck with it for a good portion of the evening, but I haven't played it since.

I really liked amiibo festival... EVERYONE HATES IT BUT ITS FUN IN MY OPINION 😭 MY WII U SAYS THAT I HAVE PLAYED IT FOR 75 HOURS. (If you go to the activity log and click on the icon the last time you played it it tells you your full time!)

I actually played it quite a bit, mainly for the Desert Island Escape game. Once they released the New Leaf Welcome Amiibo update and I managed to get a Wii U in game though, I didn't really play Amiibo Festival anymore. Now I can't play it even if I wanted to, as my Wii U's disk drive is dead and I haven't gotten a replacement for it yet.

I own the game because I wanted the amiibos that it came with, but I’ve never played it. I don’t even own a Wii U lol. I’ve never really had the desire to play it, but I probably would’ve tried it out if I had a console to play it on.

I never got a wii u, i was waiting for a AC main game to come out to purchase one incase they done a special edition set like link. After nintendo gave up on the wii u and put out amiibo festival i knew it was not worth paying £200+ for a system that will never get a main AC title. And by seeing gameplays on youtube i think i dodged a bullet in not buying it.

I got the game and two amiibos in clearance for £5 (originally £50) mainly because i wanted the digby and isabelle amiibo figure which were seling for £20 seperately themselves at the time.
