Did Anyone in Canada get an ETA for their AC Switch Yet? :[

Just wondering if anyone did, haha. I know many people got ETAs but are any Canadians having any luck?
I feel like Amazon oversold when I ordered mine and I won?t get it for release day which sucks since I booked off 5 days for work. :?(

I've noticed Amazon has been shipping theirs a few days late, at least here in the USA. BestBuy, on the other hand, has theirs ready for pickup day of release.

Preordered mine from Amazon.ca, still no ETA. Ordered Feb 4th. I have basically lost hope I will get it before the 20th. I will be forced to re-start the game once it comes in too. Canada always gets shafted.

I called and they said that they won't receive their stock till the 13th, which is odd to me since Walmart already has it. I'm a prime Member and I still won't receive it till Monday...

I always thought they shipped before so it could arrive by release day.

As did I. Both orders (system and case) say will be ready for pick-up on March 13. I imagine they'll charge my card upon pickup. If it were being shipped, my card would be charged once it enters a shipping box.

That’s interesting. Mine took the money the day I ordered it (Feb 5th) And I also have a store pickup at bestbuy. I used PayPal at checkout. Not sure if that had something to do with it. My order still says preparing for pickup on the 13th so I’m guessing it’s in stock.

Hoping for the best. I?ve been holding off from buying a Switch since I always had a feeling they will release a special AC one.

No ETA yet either, also ordered from amazon.ca on Feb 4th ;/ I feel like preorders stayed up for a loooong time which I have a hard time trusting lol.. I?d feel better if they?d email me. Hate Amazon but thought they?d be more reliable than eb games, hopefully I didn?t make a mistake cancelling my preorder there.

I got even more antsy at work while waiting for the foreseeable outcome so I decided to email customer service and yup. They oversold. I knew I should?ve went to Best Buy. Shucks for anyone else waiting too. ;

I've checked and I?m sorry to say, we don't have any more stock of this item right now, and we're not sure when we'll be able to get more that is why an estimated delivery date is not available.

My Amazon.ca order has no ETA either. I'm glad to see I'm not alone here though, was getting a little worried too.

This is why it's so great that the system releases a week early though. This would be maddening if it came out on the 20th.

I didn't order the new Switch as I already have a perfectly fine one, but when pre-ordering things in Canada I notice they typically don't ship until the night before release at the earliest. Sometimes not even until the actual day of.

For me personally with where I live things usually ship the night before and will either be in my mailbox/post office by the afternoon of release. The odd time things don't ship until the actual release date I usually get it the following day (or Monday if it's a Friday release like a lot of Nintendo things are).

This is also regardless of ETA as I find oftentimes ETA is way off or missing until my item ships.
Just need to be patient, you will likely get shipping notifications tomorrow night. Good luck

I pre-ordered mine at GameStop (California, United States) and I have been told that I'll get my switch on release day on Friday.
I am super excited because I sold my old switch so I could get this one...

I pre-ordered from BestBuy Canada on Jan 31st. The order still says "In Progress" but just this morning my credit card was charged! Hoping this means it'll be shipped out soon!

PayPal "reserves" an amount from your account so that you don't go and spend it before the transaction completes. Same thing happens with Target. I used PayPal to pay for my game pre-order, and PayPal puts that money aside until the sale is finalized.

I am buying my Switch from TSC in Canada on 12 easy payments (because I’m too poor to buy it outright - lol) no ETA but is supposed to ship Friday, 13th

I preordered my game from Amazon.ca ... no ETA yet either
I am resigned to not starting gameplay when everyone else does and hoping to benefit from experiences of those who start right away ... rank beginner here looking forward to learning from you all


Well, the TSC totally let me down so I have since ordered from Amazon.ca and my ETA is Tuesday 17
My preordered animal crossing new horizons game is still set to ship on the 20th ... I prefer to have the hard copy but may cave and buy digital
