I had red yesterday and red today, but I don't believe green on either day (today is red and purple- favorite colors of mine, actually!)
I was SO relieved to have red yesterday, though, so I was able to craft a bunch of piles of gift boxes! Nintendo really should've made it so EVERYONE had it on Christmas, if they were gonna make it necessary to craft a new DIY!
yesterday on the 24th i had green and purple. today on the 25th i have black and pink.
ultimate poop rng but luckily i was able to get red wrapping paper elsewhere for the gift pile.
mine doesn’t aha. yesterday, i had purple and white wrapping paper and today i’ve got mint and navy; thankfully, i was able to get some red from a villager yesterday so that i could craft the gift pile, so i’m happy! it’s a super cool coincidence that your nook’s had red and green today, though. :’)
I had black and light blue yesterday and orange and brown today. That’s quite a funny coincidence! I have some red paper in storage so I was all set, luckily.
I’m not sure about green, but I do remember seeing red in stock today! It’s a little frustrating because I definitely feel like if red wrapping paper was going to be a necessity to build the only other DIY you get on Toy Day it should’ve been available in the store! My Nooks was selling a cardboard box yesterday so it just feels odd that they weren’t also selling the red wrapping paper.
Yesterday I had blue and yellow wrapping paper. Weirdly, I had orange and black wrapping paper on Toy Day. Hopefully I'll get red soon. Its strange they decided to go with red instead of the festive which we can craft.
that's a really sweet detail that they put into the game! I don't know if anyone skipped toy day, but I played it and then time traveled forward for trading, and then TT-ed back to toy day and shut my game yesterday, so I guess the game decided that I didn't play toy day because when I talked to my villagers today they said that they didn't see me yesterday and wished me a belated toy day. I don't remember villagers mentioning past events the day after so it was a sweet addition.
