I am trying to use campsite trick to hunt for my dreamies, I have been doing it for hours using the tricks I found on YouTube and other sites, however, the days that I need to TT doesn't seem to follow any patterns. I am not sure if this trick still works or Nintendo has patched it? Can someone confirm it for me? Thank you so much and Happy New Year everyone!

I don't know what the campsite trick is. You can't just TT one day at a time until a villager shows up?

I TT'd two in game years to get Raymond, and was TT'g 6 days at a time until a visitor was announced, but during that whole thing, I did go two months without a visitor, a couple of times.

Keep at it. :)

I think it only works if you don't have a specific personality on your island. If you were looking for like Raymond for example you need to not have Smug villagers living on your island. So there is a higher chance of a smug villager showing up on your campsite.

Oooh, I see. Thank you very much everyone, I guess my luck was horrible. I TTed like 7 days after I saw someone at the campsite and wasn't Raymond, but I didn't see anyone at campsite after 7 days, so I continued to TT 2 day in the future but no-one showed up for like a whole month in game time.

I’d be curious too. I’m about to do some village cycling via campsite.
I switch to this guide and I have better chance https://docs.google.com/document/d/...-bcdZg1mhXgtRPg/edit#bookmark=id.la2v86fz0j5v
I just got my Raymond like an hour ago^^

My understanding is getting a camper is semi random. For the first couple days after you have a camper there is zero chance of another one. Then after that there is a certain percent chance of getting one that goes up every day you don't have one and I believe it caps at 20%. And yes it tends to give you campers to fill in missing personality types. My original camper smug was unfortunately Colton(eeewwwww). I got rid of him as soon as I could. I had no other smugs so my next camper was a smug and it so happened to be Raymond. Guess the campsite was trying to make up for giving me Colton the first time around lol.

The other day I was lucky enough to get Reneigh in my campsite. I didn't have an Uchi in my town. Not sure that proves anything, but it may have been the reason.
