Disappointing Rooms

Do you ever find yourself creating a room that you believe would blow away the mind of any Animal Crossing fanatic?

I have made so many of these rooms, that I have lost track of the actual number. I spend weeks on collecting the furniture pieces only to realize the room I was working so hard towards looks undeniably terrible. My most recent disappointment was my Palace Room. I tried to create a place that, for me, would be a relaxing oasis with the luxury of being surrounded by fine art. That oasis began to crumble in ruins the moment I spread the wallpaper on the walls- which I waited an entire month to come across. I guess it's time to move on and hope the next idea is an award winning design...

From that angle it looks alright! When you view the room as a whole, nu uh.

Maybe you could try adding in some plants and greenery? It would look more like an oasis that way

It looks really good! I myself have a similar room, except it's more like a "Link" room. I have been trying to make a room using the Mermaid set, yet... It's just not working out lol.

I made a Link room too! ^^ I got the idea from a room I saw off Google images!
