Display wall items outside? (oh, we can't)

I was curious if there was a way to display items that go on the walls outside. I thought that's what the panels were for but it wasn't letting me hang anything. Or is this just something we can't do?

Yea they really did. I would have loved to put wall lamps or the wall mounted candles on them.

seriously this has driven me up the wall! imagine what we could do to pretty up the place if we could put the wall planters and such on trees or panels!!! honestly, i cannot believe they didnt add that in the game.

I had so many ideas. I've got the blue and pink zap suits sitting by Voltron ground art and I'd wanted to use the panels to put the helmets above them.
