omg PHEW! Somehow snagged a gamestop bundle with my sister. It'll be cool to have a "special" item before the hackers find a way to cheat it in haha

I haven't looked at the actual Japanese, but here's what Justin said on his ACWorld blog:

But don’t worry if you can’t get your hands on the Animal Crossing Joy-Con controllers yourself as Nintendo says both items will be available for purchase regularly through Nook Shopping in some manner too.

So it sounds to me the only actually exclusive things are the Nook Inc rug that you get for having a Nintendo Switch Online account, and then the Pocket Camp items.
