DLC pillars didn’t unlock

i have finished all 30 homes, and about 4-5 homes after, i have done the dance event thing on the beach and still don’t have pillars or anything other than the partition walls.
if i try to use the chest it just tells me “looks like you could fit a lot of stuff in this box.” and niko only asks if i want to visit a home.

i’m not sure if i missed anything or what’s going on. i’ve asked a few other people and they don’t know what’s going on.
if anyone could help me that would be a huge help! thank you!

i haven’t been able to access the box at all. every time i try it just says “looks like you can put a lot of stuff in here” and won’t let me do anything else with it

Just wait until the next few days. I didn't unlock mine immediately. Had to wait 2-3 days after. Also to be sure, always talk to Lottie.

You need 19 decorated houses to unlock this. But you already had your DJ KK festival, right? You just have to wait for the next few days in real time.

I had to unlock the ABD machine first then the following day, the material requests. The game has a priority of unlocks. So you just really need to wait.

Time Travel does not affect HHP. You need to wait for days to pass in real time.

Talk to Niko, Wardell, and Lottie. Maybe you haven't triggered something.

Are you sure? I TTed a bunch and I'm 99.9% sure I got my pillars that way. Also, it does affect it in other ways- you can get different recipes each day, and the stock changes daily, and it doesn't matter whether those days pass naturally or through TT.

i’ve been looking for an answer all night and haven’t found anything, i’m hoping it’s just a bug or glitch and nintendo will fix it asap.
i’m hoping to be able to contact nintendo tomorrow about it if i can’t find an answer by then

After the 28th house, Wardell should have told you that Niko is looking for materials. You won't be able to leave materials in the box until you have this conversation with Wardell.

I’ve only done 15 or so houses and I’ve unlocked niko crafting and have been giving materials for days. I don’t have the abd machine yet though

Hey, did you find any solution? My girlfriend has the exact same problem and is really frustrated about it right now

This happened to me. You need to wait 19 days real time I think, if you finish ahead of time. I think its supposed to be one house per day. But if you do many houses per day, you have to wait for the game to catch up. I solved it by tting exactly 1 month forward. After that, Lottie and Wardel immediately talked to me about Niko and I was able to start putting stuff in the box.
