I've tried to be a completionist with the game. Fortune cookies have made that near impossible without spending unknown amounts of money. So two questions.

Will seasonal events come back every year and will I have the chance to collect the items again?

Will fortune cookies return or is there another way to obtain these limited items?

The game hasn’t been out for a full year yet so we don’t know.

I have thought since the beginning that the events will start to loop after the one year anniversary, but now I'm not so sure. Events came at a much slower pace when the game was first released, and I think that could leave new players feeling bored and old players unmotivated especially if they finished all the early events. As far as the fortune cookies go, I think it's less likely these will come back as actual cookies, but they will likely be found under the reissue section where you can use your stamp cards. Ultimately, we don't know what the future holds, but it will be interesting to see what happens. As a fellow completionist, I'd suggest you try to make peace with an unfinished catalog and only worry about collecting items you really want. I think this will make you much happier with the game.
