Hello all, I have been searching the realms of google and nothing seems to answer my question…

I recently just had 3 of my dream villagers appear on my beach in HHP! So exciting to see them in game!, but I’m hesitant to build them a vacation home, reason being is because eventually I want them on my Home island Gem Acre. If I create a home for them on my HHP island does that mean they will no longer spawn on mystery islands for when I have a space free on my home island?
I don’t want to jeopardise my chance of having them appear on mystery islands to eventually be part of my pack!
help!!
what should I do?

If they aren’t on your home island, they’ll spawn on the mystery island. Dlc isn’t gonna effect the main game like that.

Can 100% confirm they can- Bertha was my second home design and, when I went to look for villagers on day, I saw her multiple times while island hopping. So they absolutely can.

I mean all the villager look the same so I don't see why they would not spawn on Nook Mile Islands, weather or not you have the DLC this should not affect the spawn rate of the villagers on Nook Mile islands.

Except for move-ins and move-outs, villagers in HHP and outside of HHP don't have any effect. The HHP villagers are clones that exist outside the realm of the game.

It's a bit strange, but the only time villagers are affected between the 2 appear to be based on move-ins and move-outs. Example: if you have Marshal in boxes, he will be unavailable in HHP for that day.

Does he still show up the next day after he moved out on your island?

Yes. During the day he is in boxes, you'll receive a message that he is too busy at home packing or something like that.
Well okay if he's at the resort then I don't see any reason why keeping him on your home island would make much of a different. Its weird how this works because its like how can he be in both places at the same time? That always bothered me the first time I saw this happened.
