Do u get tbt when u first join?

I heard that ur meant to but I still haven't got any tbt. Also, how much do you get? I really want 400 tbt because there's something I want to buy so I hope it's enough. Do I have to do anything to get it? ( I know u have to post and sell stuff to get it but shouldn't u get some of ur new? )

I think you're supposed to get 100 TBT Bells or something like that. A lot of people have complained about not receiving them for a while. I'm guessing the staff deposit the TBT Bells manually, which would explain why some get it sooner than others, but I don't really know.

I'm pretty sure you get welcome bells, I remember clearing out my inbox and it had messages about receiving welcome bells.

I'm not too sure how it works, I know when we moved over to vB the general rule was that you got your welcome bells as soon as you joined, but I'm not too sure how it works now, because it's obviously changed.

I think I remember reading something that you'll earn bells once you do certain milestones, like achieving X posts, creating a thread in X board, uploading an avatar/sig and what not (I'm not actually sure what of those will earn you anything, though), but I'm not actually sure if that's legit or if it's just my mind BS'ing lol.

I believe you must post an X amount of times to receive each of the welcome gifts. However, I'm looking through my transaction log and I see that I received 150 TBT bells when I joined. Overall, you should receive 700 TBT bells as a welcome gift.
