Do villagers not have their own unique houses/rooms now?

Do villagers not have their own unique houses/rooms now? It seems like the first 3 villagers (after the 2 starters) moving into everyone's islands all have the same layout. At least that's what I've noticed with the Peppy villager so far.

You give them things and craft things for them so in a way you get to decorate their house.

Well. I'm not sure. But in my experience, the two first villagers that moved in with me when I arrived at the island (uchi and jock), are slowly crafting stuff and furnishing their own house. I do not know if they craft specific furniture for themselves or if it's related to their personality.

They slowly craft things over the course of the next couple of days which later turns into a theme for their home.

Fuchsia has an entire playground theme set for her house (not really sure it's fitting though). Apple had an extremely well themed house and so did Maple.

It looks like Cherry is slowly building out a kiddie themed house for herself. Is it the same thing for Fuchsia ?

Looks like it.

Katt has a music themed home still. Soliel has an imperial themed home. Diana is her usual bath/sea themed home (Jacuzzi, shell bed, etc)..Zucker's home is no longer a sushi theme which I was a bit sad about. Still waiting to see if Octavian crafts his to be space theme or not.

Huh! Even the ones who come with fully furnished homes, like the first peppy? (not the original two uchi and jock) They seem to always have a bunkbed loft, jewelry display, and a chair.
