As xara posted above, the best tool to track your game's weather is Meteonook.

I recommend reading through these few old threads to find tips on how to find your weather seed.

Yeah, Meteonook was what I did! I remember setting up a laptop to the world clock and recording it and my tv potato-phone style during a meteor shower to put in the exact seconds to get my seed.

I don’t. I can’t be bothered with it. It seems confusing anyway, but I wouldn’t know because I haven’t looked into it. Plus, I time travel so that would make weather tracking a bit pointless.

I love using MeteoNook!! It's like having an accurate weather forecast. Sometimes I don't look at the upcoming weather, but if I really want to experience a certain kind of weather, I can look to see when the next time is I can catch it.

Like other posters above me, I used MeteoNook to track my weather. It took a few days to find my seed, but once I did, I was pretty well set up and made sure to check it daily to determine if there were any specific times I had to play at. These days I don't use it, though, since I don't really need it anymore.

Setting up Meteonook has never interested me, though it would be good to use for predicting meteor showers! I just don't want to make the game too predictable.

Good luck finding your seed if you decide to set it up! 😊🌥

I never felt the need to track the weather in my game. Made a couple half-hearted attempts to use meteonook but ultimately realized it really wouldn’t enhance my experience in the game at all. It wouldn’t change anything about how I play.

Meteonook does seem to be the best way to track the weather and identify their game’s weather seed for those who are interested though.

I've set up my weather seed on meteonook as well but I very rarely check it. It took me a little while to actually get the seed and I only really use it for shooting stars. It can be really useful tho if you do want a certain weather for your DA.

I keep meaning to check my weather seed but I just forget haha I would like to be able to work out what kind of weather my island would have. I usually only really like having my island set in spring and summer so it would be nice to work out the summer storms.

I’ve previously used MeteoNook to record my weather, fortunately it didn’t take too long to set up, and now have my weather seed saved. I found it useful to see what days had shooting stars and to see the times for them so I knew exactly when to visit my island, which was the main reason I set it up as I kept missing Celeste and wanted the DIYs.

Nowadays I hardly use it though, unless I want to gather up some star fragments quickly for crafting, as I‘m happy experiencing any weather on the island so just let it play out naturally.

Question about heavy rain on meteornook, does heavy rain always have thunder and lightning? Like throughout the whole time it rains, I’m having trouble with the difference between rain/snow and heavy rain/snow

no, i don’t play much nh much anymore but when i log back in eventually i should try finding my seed.

I was going to try and figure out my weather. Decided it wasn’t worth it because I wouldn’t be able to get the right pattern. Because of time, I usually play at night and sometimes time travel. The only thing I really wanted to know was when there would be fog or a rainbow because that would look nice when updating my DA.

I love using meteonook to know when it will rain 2 days in a row. Then I harvest my veggies and don't have to water them.

I tried and failed several times. i could never find my weather seed. I have read what people say about the meteor showers but i rarely play at night and even when isabelle told me one was happening its impossible to time the shooting stars. i gave up. i really think they shouldve made it where isabelle gives u the weather in her announcements(would be way more useful then talking about socks all the dang time).

I do not. I always tell myself I will start tracking but I never actually ever start. Eventually I’ll try to start it since I want to know which day fog appears.
